SurveyDXF and BMGIS are currently available through Google Play Closed Testing.

BMGIS serves the Malaysian surveying community with benchmark information, while SurveyDXF is an Android field companion for total station users worldwide allowing surveyors to work directly with DXF drawings in the field.

We're looking for professionals who use these apps in real fieldwork and can provide valuable feedback to help shape future releases.

Google Play Closed Testing requires your Gmail account to be registered before you can install the beta version.

After joining the Google Group, access to the beta may become available immediately, but in some cases Google Play can take 5-30 minutes (occasionally longer) to synchronize your membership.

Stakeout directly from DXF drawings on Android.

Open DXF files directly from Android storage. View, pan, and pinch-zoom drawings with snap modes for endpoint, midpoint, center, nearest, and intersection. Supports common survey entities including LINE, POINT, LWPOLYLINE, POLYLINE, CIRCLE, and ARC. Set up stations manually with saved memory, tap snapped geometry to see N/E/Z, bearing, and distance, then export collected points to CSV or PDF.

Community-driven benchmark database for Malaysian surveyors.

BMGIS includes over 25,000 benchmark records covering Semenanjung, Sabah, and Sarawak - sourced from Malaysia's official open data portal. Search by BM number or description, find benchmarks near your location, and contribute photographs, GPS coordinates, condition reports, and location votes. All contributions earn points on a community leaderboard.
